The king tide was way up in Capitola this morning on my drive by the water! Pretty cool!

KING TIDES
The king tides, the highest tides of the season, come twice a year when the gravitational forces of the sun, Earth and a full moon align. With rain forecast over the next few days, there is some concern of flooding, especially in low areas such as Capitola’s Esplanade.

Indeed the sea is angry today! i can see wave pulses moving upstream on the San Lorenzo.

Good thing I didn't buy that house under the Trestle!   :smt044  Let's stick to looking at Depot Hill or the Jewelbox!!   :smt005
