Went out on Saturday tried my luck drifting jumbo minnows. Conditions were perfect, no wind, not many people out, and the fish were biting (sort of). Was able to only land one striper 21" on the jumbo minnow in 19 FOW. Also was able to catch a crappie and a bass, and homeland security told me to get the hell away from their dock. All in all a great day took the striper home for some tacos. Talked to some anglers at the boat ramp no one else had any luck.

PS. After fumbling around with the tape measure trying to measure the striper I realized I need a new way to measure fish. I see a lot of people on this board using a plastic type ruler where you can slide the fish in. If anyone can help me with the name of it i'd appreciate it greatly!

Thanks,
OHV

Thanks guys, it was fun but pretty slow for me. After fishing for bass at Camp Far West the week prior Saturday was a much calmer day.
