I was asked by a friend to do the safety escort boat for their Canoe/Kayak/SUP race today at Crissy Field in San Francisco.  When I found out that the first race starts at 10am, I was stoke because that gives me time to run outside the gate first thing in the morning and check my pots. Pulled 2 pots for nice quality limit.  There were 2 races, first one was around Alcatraz and back to Crissy Field and the last one was from Crissy Field out the gate to the 1 mile rock and back. I had to rescue a couple surfskis today around alcatraz. Here are some pics of today's catch.  Fresh crabs and crab cake for dinner.

IslandYak,
I'm with you on not wasting the opportunity.
Yummy. Good thing I just had my dinner before checking this post.
Congrats on the easy limits.
