cherry lake 2-12, & possibly don pedro 2-13

If any one wants to join me im going to head up to cherry lake tomorrow, and don pedro on sunday.

Will take groveland/cherry oil route, I've been stopped by snow the last 2 weekends taking the cottonwood road. (25 of 32 miles in last sunday) plan on getting there 10-1030 ish.

will post back here to confirm/cancel saturday afternoon, Though baring the unforseen, i'll be hitting both lakes.
Also planning on fishing the upper half don pedro, though i;ve never been there before so kind of an exploratory trip/scouting launches, and such.

Lucky man you are Garety.  I've always wanted to take my yak to Cherry but haven't yet made it there.

As for Pedro, when you say upper half, are you speaking of Mocassin?  If so, there is some good fishing for both trout and bass without ever leaving the marina cove.

Cherry lake is da bomb. i paddled,camped and fished every corner. Have fun and good luck

Cherry went well today, 5 fish, biggest was 16, and I saw a 20+, see member reports for more detail.

Something came up and don pedro is no go atm
