just a heads up, i was at doran yesterday crabbing(11-9-10) and i pulled more sand dabs in my traps than crab, so if you are heading out that way bring a dabbing rig with you, cameron

p.s. i was in thirty feet of water on an incoming tide.

Yep illegal to catch fish in a trap and you can't keep crabs caught on R&R

Thanks for the report Cam have to hook up soon

What if you have a "snare trap" attched to you line from your Rod & Reel?  Will this method also illegal?

I haven't seen anything that says you can't use a snare from a boat. Just has to have 6 or less loops. Anything hooked has to be released. Cameron, how do you think those dabs would do for crab bait?  :smt002
