I spoke with a park employee this morning about having a wider trail for kayaks at the jetty parking lot.  I was thinking a trail 3-4 feet wide, wide enough to accommodate the wheel carts (or whatever they are called).  When I'm packing my yak down to the water by myself, I would prefer not to walk on the small boulders, especially on a windy day.

The woman said she would look into it.

You can launch by the Bathroom across from the ramp used to be a nice path there but long covered by sand but no rocks, but I don't think you are supposed to park in that lot but I do cause they don't open that gate to the jetty very early

yeah those rocks could put a dent on the ride if there is no help to carry the yak to the sand...
there is a little opening on the left side of the tables by the cyclone fence but it means running :smt006 over some iceplants and a little buping here n there...keep us posted :smt003
