After flying over majority of the NC region and seeing how nice the ocean is, I just may go out for short while tomorrow morning. Anyone going out Saturday, Jan 29, morning in Trinidad?

I decided to go out to Trinidad Saturday morning, 1/29.  My first thought... where was everyone!?!  Sunshine, calm waters, mild breeze, basically really nice conditions to be out there.  Not everyone was in the Calm Beach Run, right? Paddling out, I regretted I didn't have my dive gear, the visibility was incredible!!  Threw in a pot to let it soak while I worked a ring.  As I was told, there were a lot of shorts and even more females (all tossed back). After an hour and still having the ocean to myself (even the commercial crabbers didn't start going out until I was heading in), I had collected one nice 6"+ and decided to collect my pot and call it a day.  I did not listen to the advice given to check it every 20 minutes and yup, I had a pot full of mostly females I almost couldn't get on my kayak without almost putting myself into the drink.  You all would have been entertained watching me get that on my kayak.  I retrieved 2 more 6"+ and paddled in.

How'd you all do this morning?

I had the opportunity to be a passenger on a LightHawk Flight where we flew majority of the NC region - yes, got many other photos.
