Kayak trolling: how to get deep?

You know, that makes a lot of sense!    I've got to give a "Handline DR" a try.    Sometimes I just want my lures to be running 10ft lower, and this way I wouldn't need to crank the DR up and down to reset it.  Going to play with this idea...thanks! 

Thanks for the link to the Longliner! I gots ta get me one of those! Between that and a Down Rigger, with a Down Rigger you will know exactly how deep you are, with anything else you can guess your depth, but never know what the exact depth is. But whatever! The longliner looks simple and effective! Downriggers are a bit to involved for me, so the longliner looks like a perfect fit! Awesome!
