That's cool - great to see such an indicator of better habitat.  For many years up here the porpoises were absent from Humboldt Bay.  Louisiana Pacific's pulp mill on the Samoa Peninsula had a pipe of toxic black sludge that was directed just offshore, and there were many more point sources of pollution around the bay.  Over the past couple of decades, and largely due to litigation by Surfrider that got rid of LP's toxic pipe, our bay has seen great improvements, and the porpoises have returned here as well.  I like stories like this.
