A day at ISE and the race track 1/20

Went to the ISE today.  Came by to chat with Eric at the Fisherman's Warehouse booth and spent the afternoon walking around between halls and listened to several seminars.  Not much differences from last year so if you're not looking to buy a big ticket items then save yourself $25 ($10 for parking and $15 for admission both CASH ONLY).  The 2 good deal I've found were the Pro-mar crab trap sold at the FW for $19.99 no sale tax and they also gave me a bait cage for free; the other good deal was the lures at River2Sea booth.  The soft bait lure was sold for $.99 each with quality Japanese hooks.  My highlight of the day was at the race track and with Gary/Makinitcount "inside" info, I just followed his "advise" and we won the very first 2 races, enough to cover my parking, admission, and dinner!  Thanks Gary for your "knowledge".  Also met Ricci at the track later on and we spent sometimes talking about future hookups in Sacramento.  Here are some pictures of the day...

Thanks for the update. Now I feel I can save my money and go buy some fishing equipment without having to go. By the way that is not horse racing! Just doesn't have the same feel with that stupid buggy behind them, wish they would have never started that kind of racing since it doesn't have the excitement in my opinion. Keep the photos coming so I can visit this thru our NCKA brothers.

I wasn't looking at the rods & reels since I got more than 50 of them already and my wife will kill me if I bring home more    There's a good deal for rod at the "Fish Sniffer" booth.  If you sign-up for a 3 year subscription (cost $99), you'll get a hat, choice of P-line pliers, or fillet knife, some decals and misc stuffs, and a Lamiglass rod which they said retails for $100.  I almost go for it but I don't want to die young

Yes, I was.  I asked him about the jig with the vibration head that he used during the seminar and he showed me the rod with that jig attached.
