This is great for someone that's directionally challenged like me,
great price and I don't even have to get my to teach me how to use it.
I hate reading manuals,,
Thanks!

..the other 40 bones will pay for the cheap gold chain to which I will proudly hang my new cute GPS from.

I have a couple bigger ones. One of these would be nice for a back up.

Yeeeeaaaaahhhhh Booooooyyyy.

Looks like a nice contraption if you paddle in straight lines.   I would be wary about getting back to a rocky shore launch.....this baby might put you on the rocks.  JMO.

It might get you to the beach on a foggy day, but with no waypoints, how do you know where the good fishing grounds from last trip are!! You cant store the secret spots  :smt003

I have one of these.  I bought at Costco for about 40 bucks as I recall.  It's pretty basic but it will point you back to the launch in the fog.  It can be worn around the neck and it's light enough not to be uncomfortable.  I'm always looking for ways to carry less equipment and this seems to be a little easier than a full blown GPS.  I don't know if it would really work all that well as a crab pot locator?

It's "waterproof" (I think 10 feet) but it floats.
