Went out to rescue the stuck pot today.  Set the other pot ahead of time, then scuba'd to dig out the pot which was buried in about 5" of mud and sand.  On the way back in I got a floating rope wrapped around my prop.  I stopped and unwrapped it, found there to be no buoy attached, and no information anywhere on the pot.  People should really stop using floating rope, especially dark colored floating rope!  Left a message and my contact info with the ranger, just in case someone wanted to claim their damned gear.

REPORT:
Calm seas, calm winds
4hrs total
12 keeper dungies
one extra pot

SCORE!

Nice recovery.  Thanks for the crabbing report Brian.

You are in good company Richard. See you out there soon.
