That's one lake I've never fished.  Someday I'll make it there. 

I'm hoping to make it out Sunday to the Forebay.

Don Pedro is a bit closer for me, less than an hour drive towing the boat.  I like McClure because there's just a huge population of spotted bass there, so its fun fishing even if the average size is not so great (13-14" slot fish).

I will launch from Barrett Cove probably, and plan to go up Piney creek.  I am still deciding on whether to head to the forebay on sunday, I am light on fishing days this year so I need to pick my AOTY chances carefully!  I might even take a shot at a crappie or two, although they run small in Mcclure.
