Hi: Everyone

I was wondering if anyone is planning on doing any of the Islander mothership trips out of San diego.  They have a 1 day, 1.5, 2.5 and a 7 day trip.  Is anyone interested in going on that 7 days trip?

I am from Anaheim Ca and wanted to join the site to read about what is being caught up north.

I have been on the 1.5 day trips on the Islander and it is all first class service.  The boat is awesome, the crew is top notch and the food is amazing.  I can't even imaging what it would be like to go for a 7 day trip with the Islander crew.  I'm signing up for this one for sure.  I spoke with OEX and they said the they need at least 13 people to make this trip a go.  I have been to Cedros one other time on a 5 day trip and the Yellowtail fishing was going off.  It just pumps me up to think of pulling on nice grade Yellowtail and monster Calico.

I did 2 of the islander trips this last summer and they are a blast. I think I met ya rob, This is Garet.

Any ways i plan to do more in the future, But this summer is a no go. New job and I wont have accrued enough vacation time to use it by then.

I hope to do one of those 7 days though the following year, or a La Paz trip. I did a 7 day long range to cedros this fall when i had a month off between jobs, and Cedros is awsome.

I remember you Garet.  What's up.  I don't think the 7 day is going to go, but I am hoping for the best.  I hope to see you on the trips again.  It was fun fishing with you last year.  Take care man.
