Hit Lake Chabot bright and early at 7am.  Met Iroelikethat in the parking lot and FisHunter at the boat ramp, very friendly guys with lots of good advice.  Unfortunately, the fish weren't following advice and were mostly tight lipped.  In a little over 5 hours of fishing I only had 4 strikes leading to 2 fish on and 1 landed, but it was a very nice ~22" ChaBow.  The net in the picture is a little over 20" in total length (in addition to a bigger net I also need a Hawg Trough).  I caught the fish it in the middle of the smallest bay in Bass Cove on a fire tiger Mepps Agila spinner.  Most of the other strikes were trolling in Half Moon Bay with Mepps spinners.

I decided to add to the WAF points and added grilled trout to the dinner slate paired with Caesar's salad (homemade dressing and croutons) and red wine (Grenache, already open in fridge).

good one Zip! that's how a report should be made(if you kill it, SHOW IT! before you eat it) = inspires me to cook fish and other stuff in different ways. You told me what would work, but I did not listen. Thanks for doing some clickin'...BEFOREthePLATElickin' :smt002
