Anyone fish this place? With this warm wx (for the next week) was thinking of trying for bass and trout? PB friend says its a good lake but wanted to check with the real experts!

Mooch and I drove over there once. Looked pretty fishy but I have a hard time passing the forebay.

Eric, a buddy and I were out there this past Tuesday. It was our frist time out there, and I have to say it's a beautiful lil lake =) Unfortunately, that beauty did not translate to success lol. We tried crappie jigging, trolling deep divers along the walls, drifting live jumbo minnows, jigging the bottom, and hitting the weedbeds for nada. Water temp was 54 degress, while I marked fish holding to the bottom anywhere from 30'-45'.

Since my buddy and I had no success, we decided to drop by the Forebay on our way back home for an evening yak fishing. I ended up c&ring a nice lil 22" and lost another decent one during the fight. Pretty cool to fish under the stars and full moon :)

Although we didn't get any bites outta LB Reservoir, I'm definitely looking to try that area again when the temp warms up :) If you do go Eric, lemme know; I'll try to join ya :D

I a nut shell the lake is awesome. It is a great bass fishing lake. They used to stock trout there but I think they stopped doing when all the trout stocking got messed up. Power boats have a 10 mph limit. You can also camp out there. I always liked to frog fish there in the summer it used to be as good as Coyote Res.
