Feels like it's been forever since I've posted a hookup. Life gets busy when you have a wife that works AND goes to school and a 2.5 year old bundle of joy.

I'll be taking my father in-law kayak fishing for his 1st time. He's got fishing experience but has never tried it from a kayak. The reports have been pretty inconsistent but I'm hopeful. We'll be arriving as the gates open at 7am. I'll be monitoring CH69 for anybody that wants to say hey.

Wish I could join you but unfortunately I'll be moving.  You are correct, it is spotty at best but at least you'll be out.  Hope the father-in-law catches the madness.

I have received the go-ahead for a January 1st trip though and may head to Calero.  I'll post a hook-up if I end up making it out.
