Anyone know of a shop around Sac Port that sells live bait?

Ive got an itch to learn how to catch crappie. I read using live minnows is a good way to figure out where they hang out for new people.

Thanks!

you can buy them at Penny Rod & Bait (right off the Jefferson)

If they don't have them, there are another bait shop right off the Capital.  Owned by same people so they'll call & find out the availability for you.

Last time I went (two days ago), they're $1.25 a piece or $12.99 per dozen, so if you buy dozen it's pretty good deal.   I think they open 6am but you can call & ask them.  They sometime have live blind-shrimp too...
