<sarcasm-mode> Yep, cuz we all know that those rafts used by fishing guides sink all the time. It's practically a daily occurrence.</sarcasm-mode>

This has nothing to do with an inflatable, and everything to do with crazy/stupid. Heck, it's probably a good thing he had issues where he did, as in another few miles it's quite likely that wind/waves/current could have done him in...
