Anybody know when we can purchase 2011 licenses?  Tried to go pick one up for my pops for Christmas and they aren't even available yet. :smt012

You can buy it online:

http://www.dfg.ca.gov/licensing/ols/faqs.html

Really, where?  This link says that I can only purchase a 2010 license.  I want a 2011 license.

Is this the same thermal paper the steelhead report card is made of ?

If so ,it get's worse, you can't leave em in the sun or extreme heat . :smt013

( Like the inside of my truck (after fishing ) in summer in the Redding area.) :smt004

Guess I'll take 1 less beer and shove it in the cooler.

The long license shouldn't be an issue.

I just give it to my legal team that accompanies my on every fishing and hunting expedition.  One of the junior lawyers keeps it in his breif case along with the regulations. :smt002

You all should take this approach with your own fish/hunt legal teams as well.  Get with the times! :smt005

they said you can get the one that expires 2011 july now.

So one can purchase a half year license?  I'm guessing that's new.  Unfortunately, I'm looking for a full year.

I wonder why my Big 5 has licenses but I can't purchase online through DFG or at my local sporting goods store, Mel Cottons. :smt012

Stopped by FW today, and they had a new machine to print the licenses out on.  Showed me a sample copy, which looked a bit like the tickets you get at a ski lift to me.  Said something about places that do not have internet access will no longer be selling tickets either.
