Werner Camano Paddle

Need advise on where the best deal is for a Camano straight shaft 230 cm model.   Searched Google and eBay and they go mainly at list price, $265.

Appreciate the help.

Check out REI. Every couple of months they have a coupon where you can get 20% off any item. Combine that with your REI credit card where you get an additional 5% and you'll save $66.

Thats the route I went when I purchased my Camano paddle.

REI or Clavey in Petaluma,  I got lucky REI just threw them up for $100 off in one of their sales, 

If you're willing to wait watch their sales.  I think you need to be a member to get the 20% off coupons, maybe not, REI membership is one of the deals that does payback if you buy much outdoor gear at all.

They had them marked down to $189 last month in the Palo Alto store, then they moved all the paddling stuff to Santa Rosa (according to Bloodbath). Call the the Santa Rose store to see if they're still marked down, then have them ship it down to a store near you. The 20% off coupon comes up a lot. Just wait for it if you can.

My Aquabound is just OK.  I am willing to invest in the Camano for long term use.  I called REI Santa Rosa, they don't stock paddles for the winter only kayaks.    Claveys is too far for me. I will just wait for the next sale between now and Christmas.

You probably don't want to wait, but I bought mine used (only minor wear) at Sunrise Mountain in Livermore (towards end of summer) for $99.

Finally found a good deal on a 230 cm and pulled the trigger on one.  I signed up on the email list with Eastern Mountain Sports and got 15% off during the Thanksgiving holidays plus free shipping, comes out to $225 and change.  I am excited for the package to arrive.

I also stopped by CCK last Saturday and was offered 20% off any kayak accessory which was great but they only  had a 220 CM.   It was awfully nice of them to do that.
