I believe the lake is seeded with trout regularly. It must have been a bad day. :smt001

James,

Nice meeting you. You are not alone. I tried trolling, drift fishing and casting small grub from my kayak from 2 to 5 pm without a hit. Marked some fish off bottom in deep water. Interestingly on my fishfinder I saw a big cloud in about 25' of water out of a depth of 50'. I suspect those are large school of bait fish or even crappie. I managed to stay on top of it for a little while and drop small grub with a split shot. Not taker. End the day with no fish. Great workout priceless.

the "Management" of this lake used to be really good - just my opinion. I used to fish this lake religiously a while back and I noticed a big difference with the "plants"
