Last week I went diving with a Korean buddy and saw him collecting kelp leaves; he taught me how to cook it.  So the next time I went I collected some kelp leaves myself.  I made sure to collect very firm, complete, and healthy ones.  I put the leaves on the bottom of my bag, then my 3 abs on top.  Upon returning to car I simply put the whole bag in the back of my truck and drove home.

At home, when I emptied the stuffs out of my bag, I found some of the kelp leaves had become soft, mushy, slimey, and with some odor.  It was as if those are half digested.  I ended up tossing all the kelp leaves out.

Anyone can tell me what happened?  Did my abs eat my kelp?  I would be surprised if after being in a bag they were still in a mood to eat...

Hi its my first post!

I can tell you that abs can be very quick to eating kelp that is around them so it would be no surprise that you are correct. I feed an ab at work and Ive never seen it move faster that when it smells kelp in the tank.
