Anyone here have any input on the Sierra 10 by Malibu? Been looking at it online for a while now, but can't find a dealer with one in stock to look at. Looking for a Sit Inside to compliment/expand the fleet, and the Sierra seems to have a few details I like such as an extra long cockpit opening for ease of entry and good sized well. Will mostly be used for ducks and the Mini-X does well but I like having the cockpit combing to lean the shotgun on. Looked at getting a Marsh Rat but it looks like a beast to paddle and at 65+ pounds it seems it may be quite a bit more difficult to load/unload onto the roof of the truck. Also concerned how seaworthy and efficient a hull like the rat is compared to the more traditional style like the Sierra. Never had a problem shooting out of the Mini-X, so the Sierra should be fine, or so it seems. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Have you checked out the old town dirigo series? I had a dirigo 140, what a great boat.

Yes, I did. Too narrow, too long, a bit too heavy and mainly wrong available colors for ducks. I am hoping for first hand input on the Sierra 10, but mainly a dealer that has one I can look at in person and check out the lines and details.

Thanks for the effort though, all input is appreciated.
