Got inspired after seeing all the sturgeon reports, and since I wasn't able to fish last weekend while the bite was hot in Sacramento and the bay, I thought I'd go into the garage and make a no-drill QRAS- based on tips from NCKA and from Youtubers.
At least I was able to do SOMETHING yak-related, even though it wasn't fishing.

good stuff. just make sure that line doesn't run over your leg. if you bail you may get snagged. I have a similar set up just no trolly. I go with the bare min. QRAS. floating yellow poly line that I clip to the bungee that holds the rudder down that runs up to a cleat in the cockpit. thread on the anchor line and just release the cleat to set yourself free. I do the same to the bow if I need to anchor or drift sock that way.

now we just need some rain to get them dinos rolling!

to tell you the truth, the no drill setup is a temporary fix for now.  When I have some time, I'll probably go the permanent drill route  :smt002 , and use the no drill on my T13.

Tight lines,
