Hi, I am from the San Diego area and fish Yak La Jolla regularly. I am coming up this weekend to Monterey Bay and will be fishing Friday.  Would someone please help me out and give me a few tips about where and what to fish for up in Monterey Bay.  Thinking about trying for WSB.  Are there any areas around Monterey that are good for halis or lings?  Any info would be appreciated!

Thanks, Matt

I would go for WSB if I were you (weather permitting of course).  You can launch at either Lover Point or MBK (Monterey Bay Kayak).

Sorry for the late response. Matt, you can also go to Stillwater South and try for lings as this Sunday is the last day of offshore rockfishing :D
