Off Topic-- Softball

Does anybody here play?

I'm new to this and in the market for a decent bat. The local southbay sporting goods stores seem to have an extremely limited selection.  Are there any shops or stores around where I can go a swing a couple different sticks (major brands and weights) to figure out what I like?
