I have purchased a permit for upto 25 people (with 5 of those taken already) to camp out at Marshall beach located across the bay from the city of marshal for 4 nights.  October 8 - 11 (Friday - Tuesday 12noon)

Halibut fishing at the mouth and in front of marshal is fun and across from hog island is usually a little rock crab hangin.  don’t forget night time shark fishing and cow bells……  lots of exploring to be had in the south bay.  Ride the tide or go on your own…. Pretty awesome place.  Heck just fish from your campsite, that’s what cow bells are all about.  Marshal beach also makes a kool place for family camping too.

If you have never been…… this is a must have for fishing Marin county

Tomales Bay is a coastal estuary located on the central California coast approximately 40 miles northwest of San Francisco.

This is a rare opportunity to camp out on a boat-in only beach camping along the west side of scenic Tomales Bay.  Kayaking, Hiking, (big time elk to be seen), Halibut and Shark fishing, Wildlife bigger than life (ya come face to face with a seal or a raccoon or maybe a pelican) Rock Crabbing, endless amount of Beaches to Comb, Big Camp Fires, Swimming and Lots of Fun!

I will be camping Friday am thru Tues am, come for a day, come for the weekend.

Cost:
$20 per norcal member or tent full (within reason) (camping - no day use fee) (if we max out or close it will be cheaper)

Additional Details:
The beach campsite is called Marshall Beach, which is directly across from the village of Marshall. There is a pit toilet but no running water so water must be brought across with the boat in addition to food, firewood, and other beverages.

Plenty Of Space To Spread Out On

Camp Fire Deluxe

Remote Camping means Boating in your Stuff

My son-in-law will have a Klamath there sat 8am and sun 5pm for stuff that needs a power boat to transport, there is launching for small aluminum boats too.

The Marshal Store serves bbq oysters beer and wine and a delight of other good stuff.

BBQ Oysters - Awesome!!!

I absolutely love that spot.  Last time we were there my friend caught a nice size halibut that was delicious crusted in toasted almonds w/ lemon buerre blanc.  Marshall Store has probably the best bbq oysters on the coast, and Tomales Bay is absolutely beautiful.  Maybe I will be off work that week.
