Been lurking on the board for a bout 2mo now figured it was finally time to say hi   :smt006.  I have recently moved out here from MO and have absolutely fell in love w/ the kayaking scene, I have been using a 12.5' perception caster and seems to be doing ok.  I got up to speed by paddling the russian and learning on there and have recently took it out in the ocean, first few times w/ friends and a couple alone.  I am yet to hook up on anything myself but my friend did land a sweet halibut in tomales last  weekend.  Anyway just saying hello, thanks for having such a great site, and if anyone is doing anything from tomales up to jenner, especially around bodega I would absolutely love to go w/ some of you more experienced guys.  I think I'm good on gear, except no radio at the moment.

Thx again

GEt a radio snicker.  Also wetsuit if you don't have one already.

You'll get a fish soon, i guarantee.

Oh ya, radio and wetsuit are definitely my next 2 buys.  But having the work few and far between right now kinda skews me towards the actual fishing as opposed to the procurement of new gear  :smt010.  But on the brighter side i can fish whenever i want   :smt003

Keep an eye out on the hookups KV. If you don't have a radio yet, just post to barrow one for the mean time since almost everybody has a loner including myself.
Welcome to the site bro and hope to fish with you soon.

ya this is good advice.  99 times out of 100 you don't need the wetsuit or radio, but that one time could be life or death.   How big are you I have some old wetsuits be glad to cover that for you for now.
