What pattern is this??
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Thanks Cam I remember the Charlie part. The last three days it's been crushed by you know who in your backyard. That upper fly I only used for an hour.

Not to threadjack Mike, but I'm gonna be in Grande Villa/Monte Rio next weekend as my brother-in-law is getting married.  We're staying at a place on the river and I'm hoping to bring a fishing rod and maybe get an hour or two in on Friday.  Any tips as to what I should bring.  I'm thinking smallmouth but I really have no clue.

This has been a weird year and normally all I fish is a Drp/Sht Robo or a 2.5" rapala. You can catch fish on them but not a lot of big ones, I think with all the bait this year the pigs are being more selective and I have done pretty good on very small craw colored jigs and terrestrials.
Water is pretty clr so 4/6lb or 5X No barbs no bait. Those little black trout worms are working fished deep in the middle of the day forget the morning and fish from straight up till sunset. If you fish the AM toss a spoon into some of the deeper runs should be some 1/2 pounders in the lower reaches most use the 3/8s blu/slvr little cleo I like red and white daredevil. Fish upstream if you can if you fish down move really slow.

Thank Mike.  Lots of good info.  I'm not looking for pigs, I'd be happy just to catch something.  I'm going to break down a bass rod and put it under the back seat but I'll be lucky to even sniff the water.  Let you know how it goes when I get back.

Thanks again!
