Looking for a fishing bow for my dad/ need info

Pops wants to get some fish with arrows on Guam. Need info on what I would need or if you have anything for sale.

If you want something inexpensive I got a PSE Silverhawk from Jerrys Archery for $109. It's a 55# compound and it has done great for me. You could get it set up for bowfishing under $200 for all brand new stuff.

That sound reasonable. So to set it up for fishing what else will I have to do or buy. Will this stuff be at the archery store too?

They have them there but overpriced. You use a roller rest, which I usually buy from this company because their ship times http://bowfishingextreme.com/Rest/bowfishing-rest.htm . I have the quickdraw which is the best rest on the market but its pricy. Ive used the Cajun roller listed on that page and it works if you are on a budget.

And for a retriever reel the Shakespeares are nice and cheap and easy to use for around $20 http://bowfishingextreme.com/Reels/reels.htm

And for arrows, they are cheap at that Archery store. Bass Pro carries complete bowfishing kits but it's better quality stuff but a little more money.

I've got a High Country Excalibur that you can have, free. Two things though: 1) It's 16 years old  2) It's set up for someone with long arms, as the draw length is 31". On a bow that old, finding different sized modules would be a pain, though not impossible. You could contact High Country Archery, or see if anyone on archerytalk.com might have them. At any rate, I was shooting it two years ago, and it was still working great, but seriously noisy (not that fish would mind)
