Deer season- any news?

I'm not able to make it out for archery this year so I need to rely on the experiences of others...anyone have any luck on the opener?  Buddy of mine took a monster on Saturday (C3), had other buddies report great numbers up in C1.  I've seen some nice local bucks in town, hoping it's a sign of a great year.

Saw a nice 5x4 in my buddys pasture this afternoon in the Latrobe area. Easily could have put an arrow in the right spot. Chose not to since I'm not licensed and my bow was an hour away at my house. Plus it's really not fair shooting from your front porch. Also saw 4x4, 2x2, and 2 spikes. Buddy figures he'll get one in a few weeks legally with rifle.

5x4 is a dandy, hope he sticks around for rifle.  So far it seems to be a pretty good year, hope this weather pattern holds which will make it a great year.
