he's assuming there's only that ONE shark  :smt011. I would think that the smell of fresh kill blood would attract another....but that's just me.

I've paddled the other side Pedro Point a few years back with Jdyak and saw a sea lion colony back there....and I remember at the time that there was not one single sea lion that was in the water. They were all on the rocks and looked like they were on a heightened alert. We got out of there asap!

We used to go out of Lawson's Landing to play back in the 80's, the ground swells were a gas. If the pinnipeds were in the water all was good. If they were all hauled out and looking nervous, time to get to land.....quickly.
