Alaska angler wins epic struggle with monster halibut

WHAM!!! Allen sets the hook! - Sheesh, how many of us did he get on one drop???? Alright; when, where, duration and cost?

Still working the details.  When?  August.  Where?  Kodiak.  Duration?  A week or so.  Cost?  TBD.  Having a hard time finding suitable kayaks up there, so I might have to get some shipped in.  Was chatting with some lodges up there, but Alaska fishing lodges are EXPENSIVE.  I'd like to target less than $2000 for this trip, but we'll see what can be done.
