I went clamming at lawson's landing with another member from the board, but I can't find out when the season start/stop dates are?

Anyone have a clue, when and when you cannot clam dig for long necks?

Clamming can be done year round but you've much better chance of success during the minus tides in Tomales.

It's either to early in the morning for the negative tides in the fall or too late in the afternoon.  Unless you bring light with you and are a quick digger.  Make sure bring company. :smt001

According to their calendar, you can dig for clams there @ +0.5 or lower.  Of course there'll be less clam beds available and you must be quick  :smt003

Sorry to TJ here, but I saw a large PVC pipe that must have fallen out of a truck off HWY 85 on the way home the other day.  Considering making a night run to grab it ;)

I just heard the other day from reliable sources that there aren't any clams left out there. But, if you paddle out the mouth of the bay to the next sandbar where the waves are breaking, and wear lots of lead, you'll find big'uns. :smt002  go get 'em
