So I hear people say that squid on the gragh look like "lightning"?  My only experience was last week down at HMB and I couldn't say for sure I saw what I'd describe as lightning on the screen. I'd say some marks that looked like rain on the screen. I'm using a humminbird lcr. Can anyone confirm or further describe what they look like. Or better yet, anyone got a pic of it they can post?

I'm  getting  a lot of fainter returns of large schools of whatever out in front of Santa Cruz. Not like full grown sardines at all. Haven't been able to sabiki  any of it  but a halibut I caught coughed up a squid. Not vertical , but cloud like. Maybe pinners.
