armrests AND more cushioning?!  I hear next year's model also has a massaging vibrator unit installed in...  :smt044

I could do without the arm rests, but more cushioning, especially up front under the thigh area, is crucial...

The arm rests look like they may keep ones butt from sliding around, though.  I like a tight fit.

Nice. I've never found a seat that wasn't some compromise, but this is sure an improvement over the older model.

I still haven't decided if the yakpadz seat I picked up is any more comfortable than going without it.

Hy Eric,
That looks comfy.  Does it recline for those slow fishing days?  Have fun christening the new seat with some fish slime!

Bummer!

I called back to check on my order and one of the guys there at CCK verified that, although they look the same, the seat area has been redesigned and my 2007 MR will not accept the 2010 cushy seat...

Instead of ordering a replacement for the original non-comfy seat, I am thinking of making my own, or adapting an aftermarket seat to fit.

Looks like they want you to upgrade your yak, not your seat.  :smt012 That's business...

I'd be interested to know what you end up doing to improvise... may give us some ideas for future projects.  Best wishes.
