Just got back from a overnight stay at a place south of Monterey with lost_anchovie and lurker David who isn't registered (I know you're reading this - register and post dammit).

Many beers were killed both at the campsite and on the water.  :smt001  The fishing was decent, but I was expecting lings and cabs.  If you've been to this campsite, with a history of issues with a certain Ranger, I would appreciate a PM with hints on how to find the right reefs!  :smt003

We actually did!  On monday, we saw a huge blue whale with a small dorsal fin that kept on appearing in front of us.  Keith and David saw the face and confirmed that it was a whale.

Scary nonetheless since the fog was so thick.
