This is my first report although I’ve been reading this forum for months picking tips from all of you.

I got skunked 3 times at Tomales Bay!  Jokes from my wife were starting to get to me…

This past Saturday was my redemption.  Went to the Ocean Cove campground on Friday night with a friend, we were lucky to get the last spot since it was full due to the abalone reopening.
We got to the water at around 7:30 am, no wind and just moderate swells.  My friend caught his first rockfish within 10 seconds of dropping his jighead (it was his first time yak fishing!).  We landed about 7 rockfish and brought home 3.

He got seasick so we had to come back after 1:45 minutes…  can’t wait to go again.
