Me and christina and possibly some other friends are going to be heading up to berry next weekend and camping at Chapparall CG. Its probably my last chance to get a Big koke before they start to die off. Its also opening for deer on sat. Will we probably leave thurs. nite or leave early friday and chase kokes most of the day. Deer hunt all of sat. while christina fishes, and go out 1 more time on sunday morning for the kokes before leaving by noon to get to work by 3:00! So basically, friday and sunday mornings are open for hooking up with anybody  who wants to get in some serious kokanee fishing! will be launching out of oak shores before the gates open just park across the street from the gate! You will definetly need wheels to get your yak and gear to the water as its a 150yd plus walk from the gate to the water! Important, make sure you bring sum white shoepeg corn to tip your hooks w/ as these kokes wont bite unless u got it on! And some scent to add to the corn or lure of choice in either, anise, herring, kokanee special, and sockeye slayer gel won't hurt either. The bite isnt hot or wide open but trollers in boats are still scoring sum limits and picking up fish averaging 16-17in. w/ at least 1 or 2 18in. plus fish in their limit. Uncle larrys spinners, RGT's, and RMT hoochies and spinners in pink, blue and orange are catching most of the fish! PM me if your interested and/or have any questions, Fishworks!

Sounds like a lot of fun chasing some kokes. I wish I could make it but will be in Disneyland with the family.
Have fun and catch some big ones Ricci.

I was thinking of going koking, but now I'm seeing the favorible ocean conditions. You can thank Craig for that.
Sooner or later I am going to try for a koke.
Good luck with the blacktails.
If you don't know where you're headed, any road could get you there.
