I don't know if I can fish with you man, your stripers are bigger than any sturgeon I have ever caught  :smt003

Welcome aboard man, I hope to fish with you soon but the next few weeks are totally blown for me.

Hey Taylor I was planing on going tomorrow. I got a tip from a guy at the bait shop says the herring are running over at Candle Stick. not sure how soon I can get out though,I still have to get a couple things hooked up on the kayak. I'm going to try an see where people launch from over there.  I plan on going Monday as well. tomorrow I'm scouting it out for Monday, any one else is welcome and I'll post what I find or don't find.

PS   any tips on how you hook into big strippers would be appreciated  :smt002

Monday sounds good for me too.  I may join you.  For strippers, use $5 bills.... for stripers just use the same sturgeon rig and bait while your out there.  That's how I caught my biggest striper this year.

If I say that I'm going to do a couple things on my kayak just figure that I'm toast for the day  :smt011
But as they say, come hell or high water, I am going out Monday morning.

The guy at the bait shop's farther fishes that stretch at Candle Stick and he says when the herring are running you can't miss his Dad caught 22 keepers last year. From what I could tell this guy seemed to know what he was talking about.  You can reach me on my cell phone (510) 798-7767  hope to see you guy's there.

You guys have a great outgoing tide on Monday.  With the recent rain it should be textbook conditions.  Hopefully the weather holds out for you.

Good luck... I hope someone lands a hog!  Chuck... you're due...

Erik

P.S. Pretty darn unlikely I'll be able to make it... but you never know... I may run into some last minute WAF.
