I was surfing the web hoping to find some rudder parts and came across this article about the fellow I bought my kayak from 20 years ago.   His brother made these boats in Elk, Ca.   I was able to buy this surf ski after my wife lost my Mallote off the top of the camper near Fort Bragg.  Of course I had left it only partially tied down but I didn't tell her that.   Dave

That's a great old SK article. I loved the pic that went with it, the cart & all.
3 miles in 3 hours, then a return trip of 12 minutes??? Holy cow.

 I never knew Steve, but I do count myself fortunate to have met the guy who took over Force10 in Elk. I loved the huge map with the handwritten notations on it in the Force10 shop, all in Steve Sinclair's handwriting.
Was that Steve's daughter Mooch got to haul his yak up the hill that year?
