boogie board dive float, im bout to make one , any ideas?websites?

If my board could talk, it would mostly complain about being used a rock shield on less than nice exits......like yesterday afternoon.

It's one reason I like the boogie board over the doughnut....you can't do that to an air inflated doughnut.  Although some folks fill the doughnut with pool noodles to deal with that.

Another advantage to the board occurred yesterday as well.  I like to dive with a 70 ft float line that is attached to my board on one end and my gun on the other.  When i want to mark a good spot i just drop my gun and surface.  The gun acts an OK anchor in most conditions.  My buddy, Dave, was using a float tube and the same marking method, but the profile of the float tube to the wind was so much greater that it would just drag his stuff along the bottom.

I like the low profile of the board....I can hardly feel it when I'm pulling it through the water with my float line.

Was given a beater without an edge, so I zipped it up and am ready for the pimping process to begin. Dave, thanx a million for the inspiration at Mendo, and for the extra Abs, they went a loooong way and nothing went to waste, Joe I might be needing a flag sometime soon, hows the Fort been lately?
