Shadow Cliffs.? 7/1 Non Yak

Showed up around 8ish and walked to the far dock on the right. worked it real hard (everything in the book) for two hours and not even a bite. Loaded up and got back to the parking lot and drove to the swimming are then walked to the end of the trail to the left and worked it real hard for two and a half hours for still no bites. Great effort but wish I could have had the kids catch something. We'll get em next time!

Shadow Cliff's can get tough in the summer. some of the best fishing is at the end of the day. They close it to cars after a certain time, but if you walk in (from the McDonald's parking lot) you can hang till 10 PM and the evening seems to be the most productive time.
