This is seriously last minute, but I just noticed that the wind is dead calm and the there's a big tide swing.  I plan to launch around noon.  Company welcome.

I was there two weeks ago and the bait stealer's where out but it really wasn't that bad, in fact it keep it interesting. my friend caught one of them it was an 18" leopard shark, sure was funny :smt043 then later on he pointed out I hadn't caught any thing and then it wasn't nearly as funny as it was earlier :smt108

I final got my crab trap :smt001 and would love to go with any on Else who plans on going an willing to show a new guy the ropes. maybe some where close to S.F Bay Area.

I'll let you know the next time I plan to go after crabs.  It'll likely be  HMB or Linda Mar.  I'm beginning to crave crab again.

Guys,
My buddy Ron and I might go to LM crabbing this Sunday if the surf is low. Maybe we will see you there.

Whats the best fishing in Linda Mar after the pots have been dropped to keep occupied during the soak time?

Halibut just before the breakers and rockfish by the point. Just remember to release Lings and Cabezon.

thanks Mooch for the fishing tip on L.M.  :smt001  Hey Ben_CA I'm going to Linda Mar Sat. Morning not sure how early should check the tide, I'm going to guess the best time to set the crab pot will be just before the tide starts to come in. If someone knows differently about the timing of the tide drop please speak up thanks  :smt006
