Gabe, what boat was it? File a GD complaint with the CG. Screw that guy. Good tides this weekend. Saturday is the coastside oyster point hali and striper tourney so I think there will be boats up the ass all day. Sundays tides are better. Craig

So what's considered "good tides" for halibut?  I need to learn about how tides affect fishing.  thx.

The little amount of movement as possible.  The water remains clearer and that is key.  Small tides small movement from high to low.

Not to keep bitching but some a$$ skipper did that to me out at the mile buoy off sc a few weeks ago. Same thing nobody on the water except us two and he cuts right across my bow and guns it. Thank god for scupper holes!  I got on the radio and let the 4 letter words fly! I know he could hear me but for some reason he never responded?!
