I want to plan a day trip to TB and want to fish for halibut, sharks or anything that will bite! I have fished the area years ago but by power boat. I know that the area by Hog Island is supposed to be a good area for halibut. Any recommendations on gear or bait? I am also wanting to know about launching areas (Miller Park, Nick's Cove?) looking at google earth this looks closest? I have also read some post concerning tides and wind. Any recommendations here as well? Thanks in advance! - mfishter
