Got out to Pigeon Point today...

Launched about 8:30 to nice calm conditions, a bit foggy. Picked up a couple of blues to start with, then worked the kelp in about 30-40 ft for some black and yellows, a gopher, more blues, and a greenling. Tied on a leadhead with a swimbait and hit a nice 22" cabbie. Next a big blue took the swimbait as well. Then somebody flipped a switch and the wind started blowing pretty hard around noon. Tried a few more casts but started getting snagged, so I had to call it a day. Those last casts cost me, because as I was snagged, the big blue found a hole in my zippered fish pouch and wriggled out and popped out into the water as I watched helplessly when he swam away. Oh well... ended up with a sack full, and had a blast while I was at it.

WTG, Roger!  You're on fire the past few weeks up and down the monterey/san mateo coast.
Post a hookup next time you go, bro.

Rog,
Good job. Glad you're enjoying time on the water and being rewarded at the same time. Yeah, do post a hookup so we can join you next time. Sorry, I was the one who turned on the switch.  :smt002
