Hello,
I heard from the fishing shop that this place is good for halibut fishing.
He kindly marked the location where we can catch our own bait near the fishing dock.
Anyone wanna join fishing on 6/10 Thursday?
I'll be out there somewhere.
cross street is swan way and doolittle(route 61)

I'll be out there somewhere catching bait about 7am and will start fishing
for halibut or stripers!

coocoofish, I would highly recomend the Alameda rockwall for halibut and striper fishing. There's a Halibut Derby this coming Sunday June 13 at the Alameda rockwall.

A little more lead time and I could have gone. Hope you do well and be safe.

Coocofish,
Be careful if you're in that sit-inside yak.  The wind can come very suddenly and make it difficult to stay afloat in that small boat.  Fishing the rock wall with the NCKA team is a much safer bet than solo fishing anywhere.  Good luck on the Stripers and "Butts".

i respect your enthusiasm, however, i recommend buying some bait from mike's and the rockwall, be careful big tides and wind until sunday. just my opinion.  si kayak is another risk factor-been there, tried that.
