Dive #1
Well met up with some friends on sunday morning for a dive,  our buddy brandon was suppose to join us but the alarm clock did not go off for him so he missed it the first dive. Drew Chad and my self met up about 630 am in Ducanmills and headed out to one our  local spots for a trophy dive. We when we got there the coast was all socked in with a heavy fog layer which caused the water to lay nice and flat with the low pressure being created. we got suited up and begun our hike which was about 15 minuted to the spot in question. Once in we had about 5 to 6ft of vis which is great for this spot, we all dove working rarely shallow 8 to 15ft with a couple of dives hitting 20 to 25ft. we dove for about 3 hrs finding lots of 9'sto 9 1/2 but not ens, drew ended up with the only ab of the dive a huge 9 7/8, so since my bro's had other obligation we headed home.

Dive #2
This is where living 15min from the coast is nice. After a break and a run to the house to hang with the wife and kids and a bite to eat about 4pm I met up with Brandon who made it this time and anothe buddy of mine Jerry C and a couple of his friends for another dive at the same place different cove, This time the wind was up which turned the nice clam flat ocean we had in the morning to a choppy bumpy mess with about 1 to 3ft of vis. so what the heck lets go for it, we all got geared up and headed in this time working and staying in the shallows less than 10ft brandon I and dove looking in all the nice big deep caves some of the coolest structure I have seen but not many abalone I think I saw on only about 10 in 3hrs of diving but they were all nice sized. On one dive I thought I had found it so I marked it and breathed up and made my attempt to get him which I did no ten but almost as close as you can get a 9.992 not a ten but still a trophy in my mind cause this ab was not only long but wide at 9 inches across and weighing over 10lbs. any who it was a another great dive with good friends and time in the water.
I will post a pic of my ab tonight.

Glad the ocean laid down for you.  I'm truly ready for a calm day and some vis.
